He'll only do it once.

 

Is there something you can put on top of the stove that will kind of insulate it, but will still be uncomfortably warm, but not so hot as to burn his toes? Or like Martin said, he'd only do it once....

A crisp 33 degrees here in Jawga this morning. Off to work for me, I owe, I owe.

 

Good morning folks, biological alarm clock went off again. Just can’t get used to being retired, I know, make coffee and quit whining.
Be safe out there, slippery times.

 

It will take a little time. Something’s won’t change. Your clock won’t for sure….
Took me like 6 months to get mentally adjusted.. I liked the adjustment lol.

 

Working full time for almost 50 years, then suddenly you’re done. It’s weird, but getting used to it. I still have “to do list “, like at work, don’t need to worry about a blank sheet.

 

I am busier now than when I was working because family and friends demand my free time for their needs. I have actually had arguments about it. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

 

I like the line, “If you’re looking for something to do “, no, not really.

 

I make myself scarce.

Retired 4 years ago from regular full time, and still wake up at 0450.

Yep, and my old part time gig became my regular gig after 35 yrs as a gov civi , and now busier than ever.

Excuse #3, arthritis is flaring up again, sorry.
