    Just got back home from the torture chamber and mentally and physically exhausted !!!!

    Today my PT wanted to work on my balance and coordination . I knew I was in trouble when she placed a velcro belt around my waist . She started with marching in place on a very spongy pad . Next was to walk heel to toe down a tape line on the carpet without watching my feet . Then on that tape line walk overall hurdles without watching my feet

    Each of those balance exercises had me struggling to keep from stumbling and falling . All of these balance exercises had my Parkinson's disease symptoms really show the progression of this disease . Over the next few weeks she will challenge me with more of these style exercises and then slowly ween me from the strap around my waist

    Spent afternoon at the regional VA clinic. I’ve always been satisfied with the medical care, but the part I like the most is killing time with other old vets. It’s like a geriatric version of killing time at the branch clinic back in the day. Lol
