Small world... my dad and I hunted Elk in February 2002, we stayed at a small hotel in Quemado, and hunted between there and Rescue, NM. We arrived during a hell of a blizzard. Stopped here once we got into Quemado. This was my still new Dodge Cummins.

What happened to the pictures the guy took?

 

Jerry is still there, like yesterday... That could have been this morning,rig and all. Less snow today. More dead rigs.
You must mean Reserve, or as I say Reverse.

Marty i thought about you. all the spring creeks that hold natives are bout dryed up. we have a couple strong ones on our hunt lease that always flowing. where it comes out of a cave its just a trickle. 100 yds down from it no water just a little pool here and there. Yes we got good rain last nite and this morning

 

Its burning right there where 33 West goes across to Brandywine. rain should have helped. there are houses up in quite a few hollows in that area

 

I came as far as troutville today and it rained some pretty much the entire way but it wasn’t heavy anywhere except a stretch in North Carolina for a ways. Everywhere else was one of those good old soup days.

 

That looks like fun! And that first picture makes me think sidewall killer.

 

The desert is merciless on tires. Gotta have the good stuff.

Well Giz can get the cone off in about 2 seconds flat!!! Except one time she sat with it on for over half an hour last night. She just sat and stared at me.... I had gone to bed and hoped she'd just lay down with it on, but nope.... When she had had enough, she turned around and it was off. The other times I put it on her, it was off before I turned around. So now she's wearing a "onsie". She's not happy, but she hasn't tried to get it off.
