I told my wife if we ever move again I'm grabbing guns, ammo, important papers, a change of clothes and just setting the house on fire

There are a few places here with big storage rooms that have plug ins. My friend had his boat & trailer plus his car trailer parked in one. Some of the snowbirds park their trailers or motor homes in them and hook the batteries up to battery tenders. Those weren't air conditioned but I guess there are some that are.

    Good evening everyone.

I missed a few days and had lots of catching up to do. 3 day weekend was nice.

I was an Amtrack crew chief, we had the M2 and MK19 in the turret, nice combo! When I first got into a FMF platoon, the tracs still had the M85, we got those things glowing so hot on the range the sand would embed itself when we tossed them onto the ground during a barrel change.

I will have to find a photo of my younger, happier ( and much thinner) self and share with the group.

That's unbelievable! I was at an Applebees and there was some piece of shit claiming to be a retired General, but had no ID 'cause ' the army don't have anything like that'.. thankfully the person got bounced.. one of the few joys of living in a smaller town. I always feel weird taking a free meal, but like KRAMERICA, I didn't feel like cooking for myself so I went and had a steak. I always tip at 20% on what the meal would have costed me, the wait staff is always appreciative.

This is why we need a 'thumbs down' button! I couldn't "like" this, so sorry to hear that news. What an absolutely crappy thing to do and a crappy time of the year to do it. Any chance the new owners will re-rent to you?

I know it's not unexpected. We've been talking about it for months, but buying would still be better than renting again. Even with the higher interest rates. :boink:

:hattip:Morning everyone, opening day of firearm deer season is November 15, things are getting busy, hunting tourists.
I had an idea, I could take Lisa’s new landlord hunting.
It also called, take your brother in-law out for a drive day :D
Don’t Worry, I don’t hunt, or pretend to.
Be safe out there folks

A little of this and a little of that.
    :hattip:Good morning everyone.

I caught a late night flight into SYR yesterday and I'm at my parents house for a few days. Help Dad get some things done and prep for winter. Mom has a list...

    Nice! Good work Dewayne

Well, that's a bit of a curveball. I've got a rental house for you to live in, but I'd have to evict my tenants and then I'd be as big of an asswipe as your landlord. All the best to you Weeza.

Saving this Mike. The blonde haired girl resembles my daughter 20 years ago...o_O

Good morning. Wife kept harping on me over the weekend about my lack of desire to do anything. At least she goes to work today…

Guitar lesson this afternoon. I’ll get out of the house then.

Good morning everybody! About to settle in out in the camper where it’s quiet and try to sleep the day away. I’m loading tonight again and heading to winter I have stops in PA CT NH and finishing up in VT.
