Well, for everyone around Michigan this weekend, bring an umbrella and a snow shovel.

 

Good morning. No snow in the forecast.

 

It's a unique place - solid price so it should be okay, though I'm not thinking I'll ever sell, unless I wanna buy an RV and go mobile. But it has a couple barns, finished outbuilding - smaller lot than I'd prefer at 3.5 acres. Needs a TON of fallen-tree clean-up thanks to tornadic activity earlier this year, but should be good for a firewood stock. Feels like the kind of house my grandkids may inherit.
But it's weird looking. Was seemingly built over a matter of years, starting from chink-and-log center section, brick on the left, and wood siding on the right. I don't know if it even "looks great" - but it is perfect as is.

We have a volunteer fire department, one of the guys lives down the street. I really don’t want to get to know him.

 

It’s good to be neighborly!

 

I have 2 Sheriff’s that live in the neighborhood, don’t wanna know them either.
Well, unless the shit is really hitting the fan. About ten years ago the neighbor behind me caught the woods on fire, it was an expensive weekend for him.
Actually we know most of them through fundraisers, wife knows most of the Sheriffs through work.

 

My wife is!! Me, not so much.. I waiting for the Golden Bachelorette to hit the channel!!
