Happy New Year Chuck, it always cracks me up, fireworks illegal, AR15 good to go. Of course more idiots get hurt by the fireworks thankfully.

A little of this and a little of that.
:hattip:Good morning and Happy New Year 2024.

Stayed up with my Dad watching the Packers/Vikings game and then the countdown to 2024. I haven't been up home over the holidays in many, many years.

We always have a special meal on New Years day for luck and prosperity for the coming year.

My neighbors do the same every New Years, 4th of July, etc. I may sound judgmental, but their only car has been broke down in their yard for months, yet they spend $ on things like fireworks. My little dog gets so nervous every time they set them off. Of course that wakes me up. And if it not the fireworks it's the fireworks from them in their yard screaming and cussing at each other at the top of their lungs. Once, the guy got booted and the next day he was walking down our lonely road with a backpack and a bottle of booze in his hand. My grandson was young then and I recall him alerting me that there was some "homeless" guy on our road. Nope, just the neighbor with nowhere to go.

Good morning everybody! Welcome to 2024!! Some of my pack were nervous wreck’s last night a couple of them don’t seem to care one way or the other and the smallest in the house seems to get fireworks aggression when the others start showing weakness.

just wanted to start this NYDM out with a thank you.

Thank you to all of you here at TW & especially in this thread.

Many of you have went out of your way to make me feel welcome & part of the group.
Its a very good bunch of people in here.

on this end? 2023 was my first year of retirement.... but trying to make the adjustments to that & all the health problems made the year so=so overall.

hoping 2024 will be a nice one as things are how they are gonna be & now the adjusting has to be from me.
