We had similar in the tow trucks. Worked ok. Big and heavy. Not like the small pocket ones now. Still if you have the room I think the bigger ones are better.
You can charge them from 12 volt. I would charge from the main batt. During mulit uses.

I've never bought a jump pack, I carry a set of jumper cables in every vehicle. All the pack experiences I've heard about seems a LOT of them have run dead when folks go to use them.

I have had occasion to go jump off children's cars , GF car lol , friend etc I would rather use a jump box and not my truck I have a nice set of jumpers if need be but to be honest scared of something screwy going on and letting the magic smoke out of something expensive lol :}

I have changes abs modules at 1500 a pop.

A jump pac is the only thing I would use now. Just not worth it.

 

Not on my lawn tractors. Those small tires are a bitch to mount especially when wheel bearings are seized on spindles.
I'm not about to spray engine starter in tire and throw a match at it. Maybe 30 yrs ago but not now.
So after a 200$ urgent care visit to stitch my thumb up, missing out on hunting season, still flat tire and stem laying next to it, months of stretching thumb so I can use it again I am sold .
I'll give 2 to ss since he has access to atvs and boat trailers etc.

 

No I was just thinking about our trucks and maybe someone thinking of trying to use it.
For atv use, it's a specific repair. Kinda like slime.

If they have taken the metal stems out of the tires then this could save the day.
