Almost identical to the one we received for SE Kentucky earlier in the week. Thankfully, we never got much wind at our place. A non-TW friend of mine that lives a little south of Chicago texted me pics of 1" hail stones at his place a couple nights ago.

Don’t think we’ll get hail but then this winter has been pretty wild so who knows!
or abandon ship and go to mom and dads
I think I’m on the same power grid as the airport here. Would think that takes priority to get up and running in case of an outage

Unless they have enough backup generator capacity that they are not at the top of the priority list?

Thanks! He's one of the best students I've ever known. SAT of 1550; his LSAT was 174. Solid numbers - but he has a diverse background and that helped (lived abroad, published author in italy, small-town political work, etc). It's indeed a tough school to pay for, too. My paypal is @BrokeDad :D

We had winds blowing yesterday near 50 mph, as the temps dropped from the 60s to the 30s. The winds were whistling and almost ripped my screen door off when I took my dog out to pee.

Just want to take a second & thank you all.

Some years are "easier" than others. For some unknown reason this one wasn't.

It's good to be among friends.

Poppy is resting on the couch. She is hurting for certain, but this dog is very tough. Trying to hold her down/still is really the hard part.

Oh & its a very beautiful but chilly day here in Ohio.

Wind is annoying, I mean it can be really dangerous and destructive. It’s just that constant drone.

current issue is that the building behind me acts like a wind tunnel so all night i get to listen to the wind whistling along. and slapping the neighbors' satellite dish cables that are on the exterior of hte building. might have to go out and rip them down later to get rid of that noise...
