I don't know about that. It's 2024. Times have changed. I do as much or more than my wife around the house and yard and I am the primary caretaker of our grandson who lives with us. It was like this when we both worked, although I am retired now and she isn't. My step daughter, who is his mother, can't care for him and can't even boil water to cook pasta, literally. My grandson's best friend is mostly cared for by his father. I remember once when they played soccer together the guy bitched because his wife wouldn't dress their then 4 year old daughter, so when he got home from work and found her not ready to go to the practice with them, he dressed her in all this mismatched clothing just to piss his wife off. My step son. who is married, is doing about the same in his relationship. Let's give us men some credit.

My wife and I decided to have “boy jobs” and “ girl jobs “, however we do both. I will unplug drains, do the heavy lifting, all car stuff. I will be reminded of diaper duty and my lower score.
