Apparently you need more retired friends where day of the week is irrelevant.

I'm in Cali and we keep getting the rainy weekends too. Friday is week 7 of adult soccer league, and we've only had a single game with rain and Easter.

I've been working hard to get this armoire stripped of the white paint my in-laws covered over what appears to be mahogany :frusty: Some of the pieces are very intricate and even with orange stripper, steel wool, dremmel brushes, picks, chisels and sandpaper, it's taking forever. I have one side and the top of the base unit left, was planning to paint it all this weekend. Not sure I have enough room to spread it all out and paint if it rains.

Yes, paint. The interior doors were just too tough to get a clean enough surface to think I could stain again. Plan now is to paint most of it in some dark grey, but do the tops stained is something like honey.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good afternoon everyone,

The rain has stopped and it’s sunny and breezy. My wife and I are having dinner tonight with friends that moved to Raleigh a few years ago. They have two of their children that still live in the area and contacted us about getting together while they are in town. It’ll be nice to see them.

When I am working on my stuff I always say “good enough for who it’s for”…o_O

Glad all went well with your wife’s surgery

Sounds like quite a project. Pictures when you finish please!
