It is advertised as very scratch resistant and I will add this when cutting it you can tell the wear surface is much harder than the core. Even with a good blade there’s no melting through this stuff like butter.

Good morning everybody! I spent yesterday doing other tasks to keep the natives from getting restless. And I have a little chainsaw work to do this morning but this afternoon I’m a flooring guy again hopefully. I’m so ready to move back into the closet and bedroom I have two rolling scaffolds doubling as a closet at the moment o_OIMG_2777.jpg

    Morning all

Pester them until they tee up their rear end, and then punt them out of the garage

We have stink beetles here, much easier to punt.

    Here is one in position

Trimmed a number of bushes and trees earlier this morning that get in my way when I mow the lawn. It was still miserably hot and humid for me at 8 a.m.

Good morning everyone. Resting comfortably today. I may have to back down my hours a bit. I'm exhausted.

Stink bugs & beetles/ladybugs.... We have them all here.

I spray for them all & then still have a zillion to clean up. They come in with the dogs, thru the cat door, on our clothes.... Just no escape!

On the medical end: heart DR. Wants another stress test, this one is back on the tread mill with echo.
In the meantime he added baby aspirin & Nitro..

Good morning everyone. I had a bad case of insomnia last night, so I called out.

Heater working? You filled the propane tanks, right?

I had to step up ($$$) to a Diablo blade when I did mine, it made a very clean cut.

"The worst day fishing is better than the best day working"

My wife's bday was yesterday and I had taken the day off, but there was no way on God's green earth I was going to Universal studios. She had a date with the grand-nephew, then bailed on him because her knee hurt.

*I* went with my grand-niece to the local beach with poles and sand crab (flea) rake. We performed miserably on locating sand crabs large enough to not slip thru the rake, and the surf was just a bit too rough for real fishing. We saw lots of birds and some dolphins. Spent a little over two hours in the cold surf up to mid-thigh when the waves came in.

Then we took our measly bucket of sand crabs over to a dock I can almost guarantee fish. I caught 11, she lost count. Mostly Mackerel, but on light tackle they are fun. I watched her actually developing some technique, not just dropping bait in the water. We ate fish/chips at lunch, caught a few more then ran out of sand crabs. Went home, showered, then took the wife out for sushi.

Best Monday in a long time. . .

They are thick here. We use a small cordless vacuum cleaner to catch em. That spins their helmet around...
