Night Martin.

 

I have a confession, my last 3 posts here were made while waiting in the ER to get my right hand little finger stitched up. Embarrassing, but I was washing dishes in the kitchen sink, a oval correlleware dish slipped out of my hands and as I went to catch it, it impacted the bottom of the sink and broke, turning my thrusting grasp to catch it into a vicious stabbing action into my finger. Sliced it pretty deep on the backside from middle knuckle to top knuckle ... 6 stitches worth. Apparently I must be getting clumsier with age too.

 

Another badge of honor.

 

Good Morning gang...back to work today but first a trip to the gym. It's 58 degrees outside, crazy weather. Y'all have a good day and stay safe

 

Damn , your have about as much luck as I do lol the chances of doing that have to be slim drop a dish what 3 inches in the sink it breaks ouch. Well I guess you will be drinking your coffee with the rich folks :}

53 here . Warm and wind is cranked up.

 

Supposed to miss a good dump of snow on Thursday by about 65 miles .

Glad you're okay and was able to get medical attention and it didn't happen on hunting trip.

Thanks Kevin. It wasn't too bad after I got my wife calmed down and gave her instructions on how to dress and bandage it to hold it together. Knew when I looked at it was gonna need stitches. Yeah, convenient not in backcountry somewhere, and when she was home. Got lucky we hit ER in between surges; only there a little less than 2 hrs. Coulda been worse.

Weird.
I walked in on wife doing dishes last night to see her do a juggle with handmade pottery bowl only to watch it smash. We cleaned up and and made her stop. That was her birthday present. Better her than me.

I always get kicked out the kitchen when trying to help clean up! Lol!!

Up at 5. Outside at 5:30. Got all Christmas crap out of the ice. Piled into the garage but I can put away later. Main thing is it out of the snowblower area.
Have to visit Dracula today.
At least the ice storm is further inland ,about 42 right now.
Work slowing down so will be day to day for the next 3 months.
Having a cup of coffee from my new mug. Yes with egg nog.....

I've been watching that messy weather up north.

 

I need to get my truck on a jack and inspect ball joints and what not. Still hearing popping noise in front end in driveway. It happens full lock forward or reverse and wheels straight braking.
I wonder if the lift is putting strain on steering rack.
