Had some heavy downpours & thunderstorms here today. Got some landscape stones down before it.

She wasn't happy with them & wants them redone. The level says they are level.... But they don't look it to the eye. Visually they raise to the left side of the porch. Sigh...... When I did the base run & used the level you just couldn't see it, now that there is a run above... You can. Now gonna go back to a point that she picks, take em' back up/out & rework them tomorrow. If the rain permits.

They don’t have their priorities straight! It’s all about camping and fishing and campfires!

    Happy Birfday, Marty!

It's late, I just got inside from cutting the grass. I had to use my hiking headlamp to finish the last bit. I wasted too much time trying to figure out why she wouldn't start. A volt meter finally proved my theory- the starter solenoid is cooked. I jumped the terminal with needle nose pliers and she spun right up.

@MTgirl - how is Chebby running for you? Did the new rear shocks help at all?

    What? Speak up man!
Chebby is good. Thirsty but you know…. Hauling a few extra thousand pounds around will do that.
Shocks seems good. At least it’s not leaning like crazy on curves which was the main thing I noticed when the old shocks started to go. Still watch for the yellow reduced speed on curves signs and slow to whatever they recommend.

had these folks next to me last night. Whole freaking campground available and they gotta park next door…
I felt sorry for their truck. That camper is way too heavy for a standard axle, they need a dually. My camper is pushing the limits on a truck and that one is at least 800lbs more. And you never put your pop outs out unless you drop your jacks for stability. The boat certainly wasn’t helping either. Not sure what will break first on the truck - the suspension or the tranny.

The trans will shit the bed first, but it will be Fords fault, nothing that the owners did!
