Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
A dozen of us WI folk went out and exercised our trucks yesterday. The place has an interesting background. It was once a compound occupied by sovereign citizens. They refused to pay taxes, fought the IRS for years claiming to be a church. They had live-fire tactical training events on the grounds, built shelters loaded with ammo into some of the hillsides. They threatened many of the locals and anyone that got too close to the property. Eventually they were taken down by the Dept of Natural Resources because they had moved several mobile homes onto the land and installed septic systems without a permit. When all was said and done, the land was given to the county, which didn't know what to do with it for years. Eventually, someone thought the land would be a great place for offroad trails and the county developed it into an offroad park/campground. Some of the trails are quite challenging.

    I've always have wanted a 1955 - 56 Chevy Apache pickup with a 565bbc in it

I would take an Apache in a heartbeat
Or an early 50’s Chevy five window pick up
There’s a guy in MT that has a turquoise/aqua Apache. He brings it to a lot of shows and I have to stop and check it out every time

The first time I saw Chevy Apache p/ up was In Northern California in the mid 70's and it was painted dark metallic grey with black and orange graphics and lot's of polished chrome

Not sure about wading neked I always called it wading wet :anonymous: Still have a pair of Gary Borger original wading boots made by Weinbrenner in Wisconsin that I use for wading. Wet or dry.

Often I see people with waders enter the crick right where they should start fishing. I've been known to just wear whatever I have on, even if it is semi dress boots

Wife's HAND surgery went well until a few days after when I went to grab her WRIST so I could secure the bag before she went in shower. That night she left me to go visit her sister in New Mexico.

OK, they weren't exactly related, just a coincidence. She regularly treats me like a kid, but when I mentioned she wasn't allowed to help drive with 1 hand and Norco, *I* get the stink-eye :argue:
