I prefer a traditional brat. Maybe that because I grew up in the brat capital of the world. First solid food was probably a brat.

I've had a kraut made with red cabbage when I was in Germany ('84-'85) that I really liked. My girlfriend's mother was a caterer and she'd bring stuff over for us. That's where I learned an appreciation for wurst and most of it's forms.

 

The Severe t storm that the NWS issued a warning for my area yesterday evening was a very strong storm . Not sure of the rainfall amount but it floodeded my street within a few minutes

 

That's what my SIL made for dinner last Friday and it was very tasty !!!

 

Does it go down as soon as the rain stops or does it stand water a while?

It takes a few hours for the storm drains to clear the street especially on my side . There's a section of the street on my side a few houses down from me that will occasionally flood their driveway

 

This flooding was a few months ago a few hours after a strong t storm passed thru my area . You can see the driveway of my neighbors house partially flooded
