Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
With all of the rain we've been getting, there were more downpours late this morning, causing a small dam to be breached. Soil along the north end of the dam started washing away. There was a fear the dam was going to fail, so all of the gates were opened to try to reduce pressure and the water level. There is a lot of flooding in the area, especially in that area. There are a couple of roads washed out and a bridge was closed for fear of the flooding damaging it. So far, I haven't heard of any major damage to homes or deaths. Of course, there were quite a few idiots that just had to drive into deep water.

Late this afternoon, I drove over the Fox River, between Appleton and Green Bay and it's about as high as I've ever seen it, which is saying something.

Radar is showing more possibly heavy rain coming yet this evening. Only one band, but it is moving slowly. They are calling for clear skies tomorrow, but Sun to Wed forecasts are for at least a 50% chance of rain each day. Anyone want some rain?

    Displaced or dismembered?
I was going to cut the backyard this morning but it was already too hot. We were only 114 compared to where I work up north half the summer, it was a tick or two over 120. I have to go up there next week but, here and there, are supposed to be 115 and below (and not much below).

Displaced - they were sleeping under my old lawn mower and I needed to move it, so they had to move to be safe. it was 100* when I started cutting my yard. felt like of 107*

Still wide awake at 5:30am. Our oldest dog is pacing the floor. No obvious reason.
