    Good morning :pccoffee:

Going to shoot a couple rounds of skeet this morning don't have the energy for sporting clays even though I need the practice. Then come back and sleep for a couple of hours to recovery. Met with the surgeon yesterday. 1 month off work and 3 months to recovery. I ain't got time for that nonsense getting too close to bird hunting season. And survival rate is the same as radiation therapy so going to start radiation hopefully next week. Neither option is great but reminds me of NJP in the Navy. 45 days restricted to the ship or 3 days in the brig with bread and water. I'll take the 3 days on bread and water, let's get this shit over with LOL.

Good morning crew! It was nice last night, dipped into the mid 60's. I met some friends to listen to a free music event , the band was good but most of the music was stuff I remember my parents listening to. ( late 60's - early 70's ). I'm headed outside in a few minutes to put in some more work on the firewood truck, it's *this* close to firing up and moving again. I hope that everyone has an enjoyable weekend. Its hard to grasp that July is over already.

That sounds about the way that my projects go. I will have too many of one size or not enough of another.. eventually you will fill a bin with all of the left over parts, and still never have the one that you need!

Love it!! It sounds just like the firewood truck when I'm making a coffee run!

    Morning all

My parents listened to WWII era music. I grew up on late 60's early 70's music.

What do you listen to, Walter?

I had the same thought, my father listened to Big Band music. Mother was a bit younger and liked more "modern" music. Her younger sister, my aunt, liked that really modern transitional 50's style music. None of them cared for my music which is now called classic rock. They claimed it shouldn't even be called music and it was just a bunch of yelling and screaming.

I grew up in the early 70's, so I was probably exposed to the similar music that you knew. I can remember the Grandparents listening to the Polka music on Sunday afternoons that a local college station would broadcast. These days, my music tastes are all over the place, mainly depending on my mood. Anything from Delta and Texas blues to R&B, funk, punk, folk, bluegrass, classic rock, old heavy metal, The Who, the Doors, Rush, Phish... I never understood Zeppelin or the Stones under I got into the blues. I have a 'zero tolerance' policy for anything on a 'pop' station.

Growing up in Detroit, my older sisters listened to Motown, it’s imbedded in my brain. Saw some incredible music back in the 70’s and 80’s

Good morning folks. Nothing planned for today. Rain, rain, rain.
Y'all have a good one, be safe.

I sort of knew going in I was "jacked" and I was. Just did not pay attention in 22-23 and now I'm paying real good attention. LOL
