    Good morning :pccoffee:

Tomorrow is my Costco run, normally I try to avoid the weekends. But have radiation treatment everyday next week and today is the monthly 5 stand shoot at a local club. Held the first Saturday of the month, and it is here already!

Have my Costco Executive rewards membership check for last year sitting next to me. I buy enough there that it pays for the membership :anonymous: 6 weeks from today headed to Canada for my annual cast and blast, I will bring a lot of the food for the 4 of us. From Costco.

Great news! Puts everything into perspective. Nothing trivial about it.

Yeah, I got my certificate too. Not as much as past years, as we have cut down on the goodies, but still plenty to pay for the executive membership we have.

Did the morning walk, dog is getting better. Much busier on the weekends, but I did score a dozen or so cigarette butts, candy wrappers , and an energy drink can, bonus. Don’t know if I told you guys but there’s a bagpiper that practices in his backyard, close to the trail. He wasn’t out there today, need to figure out his schedule, it’s pretty cool.

    Forgot to tell ya.
Drove thru the Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, MO yesterday. I lived down the street for years and never went to see it. The Bird Man of Alcatraz died here.

Early morning trail hike/run definitely helps Hazel’s energy level all day long. It also gives us a chance to practice recall and leash skills. Honestly, I think half the behavior problems dogs have are related to a lack of exercise. IMG_4334.jpg Post hike Hazel

I have a showing/ retirement party to go to tonight, maybe. Good friend is having a showing of his life’s work at a museum. He is a very successful jeweler , has made all our friends wedding rings. He’s done paintings, sculpture, but excels at jewelry. There’s 3 of us go back to high school, everyone else goes back to college, and their spouses. The 3 of us still see each other often, “The Breakfast Club “IMG_0002.jpgSome of the people have become very successful, which is awesome. Haven’t seen them in 20-30 years IMG_0045.jpgShould be fun, interesting and awkward.

You would be surprised at how many people don’t understand that. I’ve tried to tell several people if you’re not a marathon runner you do not need a Shepherd living in an apartment. You’d be shocked at how many end up in the shelter and it’s always the crazy dogs fault.
