    I lived in Placerville area for most of the previous 30 years. Would go up to the Lake (Tahoe) as often as I possibly could, was only 1 hr 15 min away. That is the one thing I do miss about California. Other than my sister and friends I left behind. Kentucky has tons of beautiful scenery, though :)

    My wife’s sister and her family live in South Lake Tahoe. They moved here in the 1980s when it was a cheap place to live with great scenery. Really cool place. We’re lucky to have a local connection or we couldn’t afford to visit.
