    good thing i'm not a wimpy kind of girl... was cleaning a few things out of Chebby and thought I'd better check the cabin air filter since the chipmunks and squirrels like to try to nest in there. well, there wasn't a nest but there was a dead mouse. dont know how long he's been in there but i've been breathing in dead mouse juices for however long. bought a cheap walmart filter to replace it for now. figure there's a good chance i'll get more in there while i'm still camping. i'll get a better filter after camping season is over. weird that i never smelled him unless he dehydrated during the week since its been so hot here the last month or more.

    Take the last dose of Paxlovid this morning. Feel like I am turning a corner instead of an 800 pound gorilla sitting on my chest pretty sure it is down to only 400 pounds or so. Will be nice to finally stay awake for more than a couple of hours at a time :rolleyes: hopefully today is the day.

    Have fun and break them all Scott! I was supposed to leave today with a friend for the Yopper Side by Side classic shoot in Mi. He is keeping the hotel reservations and squading with some others that he hasn't met yet. Hopefully he will return with some hardware (trophies) and a scouting report for next year. Even if I could make the 9 hour drive I couldn't shoot for 3 straight days. I haven't shot for a month now. Let's see shiny side of the shell toward face when feeding the gun? 3.5 weeks before live birds so guess I better hurry up and figure it out. Time to pull the sporting clays stuff off the buggy and put the dog box on for hunting. That is my goal next week.
