Excessive heat warning today and tomorrow. And it had been so nice the last couple of weeks not that I have been able to take advantage of it. Off work on short term disability for another week guess will be staying inside next couple of days. Maybe cleaning house. Or more likely sleeping, finally learning not to fight it.

 

Happy Sunday everyone. I dropped off a bunch of AC lines at a repair shop yesterday that I've frankensteined together for the firewood truck. Everything has alignment marks with a silver sharpie and very basic notes on what type of fittings to use along with a diagram. Lets see how badly this gets f-d up. I had 3 more bees buzzing around in my bedroom this morning, they were all bouncing off of the window trying to get out ( I imagine). So now I know that they've found a passage through the cinder block wall and into the house, either into the lower level and flying around or somehow a pathway directly into my room, which is above the area in the wall that I plugged the hole with hydraulic cement. I have no idea how to figure out where they're coming in from without tearing out a bunch of drywall downstairs.

I think that I may have found a new toy- a mid 40's MB Military Willys jeep came up for sale around me. The body is reasonably solid for being as old as it is it's far from stock but pretty close in the way I would have liked to built one. The price is reasonable and it runs from a gas can.. I don't NEED any more car projects, but this one.. this one is really tempting.

I pay attention to those signs, hate snakes, got a good story about a rattlesnake, a car , a 10 year old kid from Detroit, playing hide and seek in Alabama on grandpas farm, good ending. But I still hate snakes, that one got raked to death

 

Mikala was woo hooing over the return of 90s next week earlier. It has been really nice this past week 50s to low 80s had me wanting to stand in the stream. Pretty much anything makes me want to stand in the stream though

 

Wet wading ain’t bad when it’s hot, just usually poor fishing. When it’s hot around here the hour at dawn and the hour at sunset is feeding time

As far as the bee issue I would check the vents, if you have them.

As far as the Willy's, you need justification?

Are you saving for a house?

Do you have dead mice in your truck?

Do you have time for another project?


Scratch that last one.

 

You don’t see those everyday the Willys is a must have! And then you can start collecting ducks
