    Ski season getting closer!
Surprise snow snow storm. Forecast was 6-10 in glacier. Haven't heard how much officially but not 10.

I've put the FitCamX in 3 Yotas so far this year: Luna Taco, wife's 19 Highlander, and SILs new van-thingy that I can't remember its name. Pop the existing rain sensor cover, plug in a Y power diverter, plug back into rain sensor, put cover back. If/when I need to see something, connect to the local Wi-fi, select that vehicle, watch/download videos. Each one runs about $175 for the single, front-view only camera. I didn't want to run stuff to the back and find a camera mount.

Paul, is that where a cleat pulled out? I’m trying to picture where that is on the boat.

That’s the very top of the cabin where the mast mount used to be before it disappeared.

It’s about 22’ long and was recovered out of the water as it was still attached via 2 other wire stays.

How are the stay mounts , or did they get damaged also.

I used this company when I rebuilt sections of my old Starwind 19. Do you still have all the old pieces? The compression post and the stays take most of the load. You could do a largely cosmetic repair to the deck and reinforce the step from below. With some finesse, it would be almost invisible. Good luck!

They are fine, thankfully. The wire stay is the ‘fuse’.

I have a gallon of West Systems in the basement. I have to section in a piece of wood core tapering the edges. I wish I didn’t fuse the cabin top deck to the hull with 5200 when I restored it. If the top were easily removed, I’d do it and flip it over instead of working over my head. The top is now permanently attached to the hull.

It reached 102° here today. Fortunately, the humidity is uncharacteristically low for late summer in Kentucky. That help comfort level, but hinders our chances for rain that we need to break the heat wave. The ol' catch 22...
