Happy Friday, I took the day off to make it a 4 day break away from the looney bin. I am having a very difficult time wrapping my head around the reality that it is AUG 30TH. Where the hell did the summer go?? No road trip to Colorado, the high elevation trails will be closing soon. Maybe I can watch for a cheap air fair and get to Durango to ride the train for the fall colors.

Glad to see that you stopped back in!

Did you get all the seeds and membrane out? That'll cool them down.

We finally got cold water back in the tap...another 3 or 4 weeks of 100° temperatures and another 45 days until hot dog season.

The weatherman said we've had 22 days of 90 degrees or more this summer, compared to average of 12. Today is another one coming. I am ready for this summer to go.:D

I did and I was able to bring them slow this time. They were very good and only a little heat.

Worked on the boat for about an hour. Tapered back the fiberglass and wood around the hole and made a patch out of 1/4” plywood. Started tapering the sides on the patch with a hand plane. I’ll get it to fit better when I work on it again.

I have also been working a bit on the cigar box guitar. The neck needs to be varnished. I have to go to the hardware store for a brush.

Back when I was first diagnosed with myeloma, I was battling anxiety issues. The med I was put on is also prescribed to people with anger issues. It must be good stuff. 101° and I had to deal with a new trainee at the drive up window at Walgreens. I just smiled and waited. No harsh words exchanged. My mom would have been proud.

Uugghh. I hate that sound. Especially when the fur critter heads towards the carpet to hurl :angrygirl: why can't you stay on the tile?!?!?
