Coffee maker goes on at 5.00 AM, regardless of the day of the week. We could change the setting, but why, I’m still awake. Morning folks and happy Saturday

The past few mornings I had quite a few Black Vultures in the field and along the concrete pathway behind my house

3 Dr. Appointments yesterday and they told me I need to take next week off too. I leave for Canada cast and blast exactly 2 weeks from today. My body better hurry up and play nice because I am going, period. Can't disappoint the dog.

Have an appointment with Border Patrol and Customs Wednesday to fill out forms 4457 for my shotguns. Getting into Canada isn't a problem it is getting the guns and dog back into the US that is a hassle. Go figure.

 

I live in a small old subdivision, with a lake, everyone has access, 3 access spots. A lot of the houses are part timers, Chicago, Kalamazoo. It’s jammed packed this morning, the street that is. I try and walk every morning with my dog, got a little sporty this morning. Lots of new dogs in for the holiday weekend, everyone wanting to poop at the same time. Hey guess what folks, it’s 7:00 AM, time to get up, a dozen dogs barking at the same time, like an alarm clock.
I’m sure many were hungover from partying late into the night, heard music going at midnight when I got up to pee

 

I finally found most of my tile tools and went and replaced one item I couldn’t locate. Most of the tricky cuts are finished I guess it’s trowel and knee pad time. I was showing the wife when she got home and the first thing she said was the paints not going to match

Thank you I got the approval on the tile but I might have to repaint
I’m going to wait till the trim and fixtures are in though maybe that will bring it back together. She should know I can’t match things what was she thinking!

Props to you Marty, the thought of redoing another bathroom is unpleasant. I will hire someone, and that is a whole other pain.

 

Good morning everybody, have a great Saturday and enjoy the holiday weekend! Summer has gone by quick, not that the heat will be gone anytime soon down here.

It was a busy day babysitting yesterday. The twins and a puppy are a handful! I may have needed a gummie to settle down last night after they went home…

 

What was she thinking? She was thinking: I'm tired of that color in the bathroom. Once Marty picks out the tile, I'll decide which way to go...

 

Yeah but of course we all know blue jeans and Matt black wheels go with everything so. Matt black hardware and I can take a ratty pair of jeans to Home Depot and tell them to match this lol.

 

Made it to our one year anniversary! I’ve now spent 88% of my life single with the percentage dropping annually.
