Good evening everyone. Good grief, its pitch dark at 7:30 now... I just ordered a few big bottles of the 5000 units of D3 to help cope with the lack of sunlight. There was an interesting TEAMS meeting at the job on Wednesday- they somehow managed to get a BIG contract that will require them to "hire" at least 10 more CAD operators/designers. "hire" to them is a contractor.. since they're already out of space to seat people and give them computers, why not bring on another bunch of people, it makes sense. * sarcasms at it's finest*.. The solution for more office space- they're erecting a trailer park in the parking lot! No joking.. there's already been a pad area that's been cleared of sea containers to make room for some trailers. I imagine that they'll be the cheapest, oldest piles of shit that they can find. Something like those green site manager trailers on every big construction job. Fun times ahead!

CONGRATS to you! Great idea ( and well deserved) treat to buy yerself a new sewing machine. How has the new apartment been going?

Thanks, and yeah I've been reading about some of the common causes with a dying compressor being one of them Apparently the flashing light indicates a difference in engine rpm ( belt speed) and compressor speed. I need to give it a closer look.

For grins and giggles today, I stopped at a used car lot on the way home from werk and test drove a 2020 Wrangler. I was surprised at how well it drove, the 3.6 has a bit of grunt. It felt about the same amount of cab space as the Taco. The pricing was right around what the 5th gen T4R's are going for, so I'm still looking for one of those but maybe a Jerp might be worth considering.

Driveway is concrete, cleaning is a pain.

    Mowing gets rid of leaves.

And I pay someone to do it.

    Thanks guys!
    Dat’s my plan!
getting a Bernina 570. Pretty darn fancy compared to my current near 20 year old brother. It’s been a champ though. That little machine has sewed more miles than it was probably ever meant too. And never a hint of trouble.

    The un-wine-der?
    me too

    Thanks!
it’s meh. I’m hoping to buy a place by the end of the year. That was my plan before the whole mess last year. Got about $1000 I owe on the truck, camper was paid for last year, so almost debt free. Getting a house was my next step

So I've noticed over the past few days that youtube has gotten obnoxious about blocking video play and making a big popup saying that I can't use my ad blocker on their site but I could open a premium account and get very few ads... Does anyone know of a work around on YT so that I can watch vids without being extorted to pay a monthly ransom?

I don’t but if you figure it out let me know too. I listen to a lot of music via YT while I’m working and I’ve about had it with the political ads that play in between every song.
