We live in the flight path of the medi vac helicopter , our small town hospital and the big hospital in Kalamazoo. One just flew over a few minutes ago, never a good sign.

 

Those fire fighting pilots are incredible

 

Our nephew who moved to Hawaii sent this. I wish I was a 24 year old surfer! He used his surfing and skateboarding connections to land an invitation to move in with a group of semi-locals who needed a roommate to fit into their lifestyle. Pretty cool and interesting kid.

 

Evening everyone

A few t storms have rolled thru my area over the last few hours . A couple of these storms had very loud thunder and produced some very bright lightning strikes

 

We got a 1/2” yesterday, none today, possibly for some tomorrow. Things are still pretty dry. How you feeling Chuck?

I'm used to hearing aircraft flying overhead , I was at 3RD MAW MCAS El Toro for 3yrs during my active duty . Try sleeping with 24/7/365 flight ops and hearing fighter aircraft flying around

When I lived in the High Desert of Socal my house was directly under the Military flight path of MAGCC 29 Palms or NTC FT Irwin . I had hundreds of Military flight ops and watching CH53's , CH 46's and FA18's flying almost on the deck

This is the time of the year where the waves start picking up along the North shore . Back in 2018 the waves were 28' and challenged alot of surfers

University of Louisville hospital has 2 choppers, plus a "level 3 trauma center". (Car wrecks & gun shots) When I was there for my stem cell transplant, my room overlooked the heli-pad. Weekends were busy.
