Sorry Tom. We just replaced our furnace and A/C and our cost was similar to what you paid in Cali. We have a couple of Eden Pure Heaters that have been lifesavers. One will nicely heat our 900 sq ft mother in law apartment which is sub terrainian quickly and maintain it effectively. We bought and used them in our previous house when the furnace went down. They draw about 1800 watts. We just had to get used to moving them around room to room. They end up on Craigslist often for cheap. It may be an option for you??

Check YouTube U for some how to repair/replace HVAC video's. If you have an inkling of mechanical skills you could replace the system yourself. A huge part of the cost of HVAC replacement is the labor cost. I've watched a few of them, and they are not as complicated as some people think they are.

it was super nice out today so when i got home i treated Toy to a little spa day and gave him a wash and wax. he was starting to look a little grungy...there is a Tacoma shaped puddle of mud in mom & dad's driveway now so defintely overdue on the wash!

Good evening, gang. I had to make a repair to the crows nest on the cat tree, the Rugby wasn't happy about the un-authorized, un-scheduled maintenance to his crib. He came running out of somewhere and leaped up and latched to the side of the main cocoon, then jumped up to smack the parts that I was trying to zip-tie together. I basically made some washers from paint stirring sticks with holes for zip-ties to pass through and sandwiched them on both sides of the crows nest. The orange face hugger didn't care, he was pissed that I was messing with his stuff!

Once he figured out that I wasn't stealing his crib, he calmed down a tiny bit. I still got hissed at!

    Good Morning :hattip:

Gunny was bored and decided to wake me up with a full on Zoomie attack on my bed at 0300hrs with me sound asleep . Nothing like having a energetic 16lbs cat at full zoomie speed mode ontop of the bed linen or underneath the covers

He's now sound asleep on my bed and I'm wide awake
