    i'm stuck in a hard spot. the doctor says he can't tell if it's a retear or was never completely reattached. he had me go get the surgical notes from the other surgeon with pictures so he can try to tell. if it's a retear, which it is, they'll cover it. if not i have to cover it. the nurse for the insurance even asked if i'd had any curent symptoms prior to the incedent and i told her no.i'd been working for about 9 weeks and had been very pleased that evrything had been working properly. the doctor says the bad thing is if retorn there may not be enough to reattach. So what do i do then? even the boss said there's no way i can keep working with this pain not doing what i do for a living.

    I've had a partial tear in my R/shoulder for probably going on now 9 years . My Doctor who's outside of the VA system isn't concerned about it and mentions no need for surgery

    sadly what makes it worse,yes for me it gets worse, i have had to compensate for the lack of strength and mobility by using my back. my back is in far worse shape than my shoulder

    i could get by with it if not for what i do for a living. try shapeing steel or worse sanding for days on end.
