    From what I’ve seen on the news and stuff the flooding wasn’t as bad in Tampa as they were expecting. Helene was worse. Lots of structural damage and a major water main broke so no water for toilets, showers, etc.

    Just heard back from my former Manager who lives in the Tamps area. He and his family evacuated to another area of Florida, they are all safe. He is driving back to their home to see if it survived. That company has a regional HQ in Tampa...... hoping all the other employees there are safe as well.

    You need a Firestick or a Ruko.

    Yeah, I went with Roku, as long as the internet is up, we have TV.

    I think he would have the same issue.

    What he needs is over the air and rabbit ears

    Those are a good idea too, though rabbit ears might not be enough. There effectiveness depends on how far you live from the tower sources. I'm 35 miles from the towers in Nashville over not flat ground and I've got a set in my attic on which I get a handful of channels. If I could get to the top of my roof I might get more, but I'd have to rent a telescopic boom lift get up there. I haven't felt it was worth the expense.
    @Bluegrass Taco
    You can use this website to see where and how far the tower are for your location.

    My antenna isn't motorized, but I'd need something like this if wanted to try and get all those stations.

    No, it's 100% 21st century digital TV. But free after you buy the equipment. :hattip:

    If you all wouldn’t mind praying…I just got a call that my daughter “Lindsay” was airlifted to Spokane with a brain bleed. Waiting for word before driving over the pass. Not offended if you don’t do that sort of thing. Thank you
