Good morning. I’m a bachelor for the weekend. Wife went to her mom’s house as she is having a biopsy this morning. She recently had a patch of skin removed that turned out to be cancerous melanoma. Now they are checking the lymph nodes to see if it spread.

I hope everything checks out ok for your wife. My mom has had several bouts with the skin cancer in the last decade, so far it's not spread anywhere else. Now she spends very little time outside without a big sun hat on.

 

Yes! It was beautiful when I went out to feed the chickens around 0730 this morning. We actually had a frost warning last night in our area, but we didn't actually get any at our place.

My wife took these last night at around 2030 hrs of the Northern Lights. Not bad, for as far south as we are.

Fantastic news! Keep an eye out for pains anywhere else in the body as that could point to a blood clot. Not likely but... Sounds like they caught it in the nick of time. Probably need to make some life changes to keep the blood thinner and cholesterol down. So glad it was a positive outcome!

 

Island Park area? Kind of looks like Sawtelle or Table in the distance.

Headed to Dillon and Red Rocks area this weekend to do my first antelope hunt. Figured I'd put in for the same area we elk hunt. Drew with a 7% draw rate and of course my buddy can't go hunting this year with his new job. Solo this weekend and early week and then figure out what to do for rifle opener in 2 weeks.

Reminded myself to look for the lights last night but forgot until I let the dog out at 2000. Did a quick snap shot and off to bed for that four letter W word today.

Easily Remedied….

 

Coyote hunting for me this weekend. Last time all I did was shoot at various different blobs of mud along the banks of the pond. Fun, but not exactly effective on Coyote population reduction.
