Not right away we are renting a house for our Colorado trip next year. We want to see how we like that first before we get what we’ve been eyeing.

I’m glad you got your last camping weekend in.

You’re probably correct on the dash cam assumption. I’m sure the SO is trying to develop a good timeline on him and are curious to see if he was alone when he went there. When they do a dump on his phone and get the tower info back they will have a good breadcrumb trail and more to go on but that can take a while to get from the carriers. Hopefully there is good coverage in that area with he highway close by.

With the amount of trauma the original article hinted to I feel like there is going to be a personal connection to the suspect or he made a stranger really, really angry.

Ooof, that complicates things. They will still do the dump and get the tower info as that will be their best timeline for now. It would also show if he left the area and later returned.

 

My aunt/uncle used to leave Portland, OR for the winter birding season in AZ in their trailer. Then they ditched the trailer and just drive down and stay AirB&B. They like that SO much better now.

 

I believe that might be where we are getting.
I really like having one of our smaller vehicles to beat around in and explore. I went up a dirt road at vermillion cliffs last year in the Tacoma that my nose heavy big truck would have probably had problems on. It is a single rear wheel 4x4 but my tow vehicle is a f350 diesel not really what you want for seeing what’s up a forest service road.
