We had a blast of Indian summer, it will go through today then it starts to nose dive back into the upper 50's for daytime temps...

Damn, so glad that you stopped just in the nick of time.. I'm curious- are those aftermarket wheels hub-centric or lug centric? I've seen lug centric wheels shear off lug studs like that.

I don’t know either I make it a point to stay away from the drag strip. Because I know my mind would start down the road of I did this wrong and what a car I could build today with what I know. And I would probably still know a couple A holes that would probably say hop in a make a pass for old times sake And laugh their butts off while I started searching for another swinger.

No idea.
I bought the bearings from one of the guys on the forum and I've reached out to him to get his thoughts.
Shop called this morning and said it needs a new bearing but the wheel is okay. Not enough damage to make it not hub centric and the bolts didn't wallows out any of the holes. Still want $820! 23 degrees this morning and snow in the forecast and need it fixed NOW! So told them to go ahead and fix it.

 

Fishing even with nice stuff is waaaay less expensive than fast cars.

My go to for explaining it to people that don’t know is. Go into your backyard start you a fire get comfortable then slowly but continuously start feeding 100 dollar bills into the fire.
