    Does it make sense that the brake pedal would have more travel on the first push if the wheel was starting to come off? Wouldn't the brake calipers and rotors still be attached straight? It would be the wheel wallowing around . I guess I don't see how that would play into the brakes. Afraid I'm going to find more wrong than just needing to replace the wheel bearing (because the lips sheared off)

    Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
    If the wheel is loose, so is the rotor. The loose rotor will spread the brake pads, making your first press of the brakes soft.

    I made the Taco do a bit of work tonight, it had to drag the trailer 35 miles to go fetch another (sorta) broken $50 garden tractor. It really doesn't like pulling the trailer. How did I ever talk myself into buying a 2.7 powered Taco.....



    It will crank over with jumper cables, bat-tree is deader than an election year promise. The guy swears it was running one day then the next time it just died 1/2 way through cutting the lawn. He didn't want to spend a penny on it, his leverage to go and buy a zero turn for his 1/4 acre yard. I'm not judging...:rolleyes:

    Maybe it will be an easy fix, so that I can retire my old White riding lawn tractor. I've been done with the CVS pulley transmission, although the mower is a tall grass devastating machine. It just can't pull the empty trailer out of the yard and I'm tired of crushing the grass with vehicles.
