My guy was in rain gear as he delivered a package around 4:30 p.m. yesterday. I met him in the driveway so he didn't have top come to the porch. Amazon has been delivering in the dark for us too, as we are usually on the tail end of their routes. Actually our mailman is doing the same, coming after 6 p.m.

Did you know you can “thank” your delivery guy on Amazon? If you bought it from the big A, just go to the site after the deliver and type in the search bar “thank my driver”. They get a $5 bonus for each one.

I did not know that, thanks. We always give our USPS driver a Christmas gift, about the only time the flag is up on the box.

Good morning everybody! Speaking of deliveries our FedEx guy was at the upper gate yesterday delivering our chewy order I shoot up on the gator he helps me throw it in the back. Then I pull around to unload and I can see the other gate from there and there’s another van at that gate. I drive down and it’s Amazon in a rental van delivering at the other gate. ‘tis the season!

. Between this being busy season for them and sundown happening at 4pm I think they’re used to it.
I always made sure that if I was expecting a package I would keep my porch light on and make sure the driveway and steps were shoveled and salted if necessary.

I think UPS does something similar too

Absolutely make sure they have a clear path Neither rain nor sleet or the gloom of night, shall keep me from my job complete. Something like that :D The other day I got a package, UPS guy walked up the driveway like nothing, handed me the box, I nearly collapsed, 75 lbs.o_O

    Good morning all.

Still no word on the job....

'Tis our 2nd snowy day here. We had our first light dusting (about 1/2") a week ago,, and this morning we have about a full 1" on the ground. Made a nice crisp morning to go out and feed/check the chickens. This is my kind of weather, I wait not-so-patiently all summer for this. But I'm not necessarily all right in the head

Below, the feed we put out on the sidewalk for the ducks, turkey, peacock, Guinea hens, deer,.... in the neighborhood.

I had an argument with my mother this morning. Words like disgrace were thrown around. Nothing like kicking someone when they’re down - why do I bother.
