Got back from a Cruise on Dec 11th.
Wife came down with C-19 on the 13th.
I got sacked mid day on the 16th.

All Christmas Plans canceled and we have been locked inside with the Human Malware Virus ever since.

    Still
    Not
    Well

I got on Paxlovid for a stretch but rebounded as soon as I came off of it.

Good thing I WFH and everyone else is OOO today.

Good morning. Made it 20 minutes on the elliptical. Why do the pounds go on so easy and come off so hard?

that just blows on all fronts. do you think she picked it up on the cruise? super easy to get sick on a floating petri dish with a few thousand others on top of you.

did you get sacked/fired from your WFH job? or do you mean it just totaled you?

Oh no - not sacked or fired at all. Sacked = Covid took me down hard. Like a sack of taters.

Just working from home like normal and everyone else is OOO - Out of Office. So it's a low key day which is my speed right now. Headed to the Urgent Care again in a bit.

The only downside is it colder than the weatherman promised and the water is chilly.

About 20 ended up coming by for posole and tamales on Eve. I got up about 8 Christmas morning, had a coffee, and went back to bed. Ate some dinner around 5:30 and fell back asleep. Thought I was coming down with something.

For Christmas I got purple nails on left hand from grand-niece. I figured a 3yo would be using something washable. I'm now at work with a purple hand because I couldn't find Cutex in the dark after my shower this morning.

APPARENTLY the big Christmas gift from middle son is still on it's way from Portland. So instead we got the clearest ultrasound image I have ever seen in a text yesterday. Girlfriend-in-law is 9 weeks along, first grandchild.

Here's to a speedy and full recovery, this "crud" still sucks and isn't going away until the next ice age.
