Gooooooood mornin'! The coffee is extra zesty this morning, I might have used too many grounds in the old Geyser coffee maker.

Weather report- wind storm and steady gettin' colder.. a 'bit' of winter weather on tap for tomorrow, then a more significant winter event on Sunday/Monday. I'm going to start my own weather impact scale, based on 'limp wrists' because of the way that non-natives in this state behave in any slippery weather and the way that they buy into the panic instilled by the local media weather reports. The upcoming storm is being advertised as 'significant', 3-5" of snow. :jerkoff: :jerkoff: I'll give it 2 limp wrists if it even comes to fruition. :D

So many Tahoes/Suburbans, Excersions, CVR's, Pilots, Subie Outbacks, diesel-tard trailer park chariots around here and not enough tow trucks to pull them out of the ditches when an inch of snow hits the ground. I'm starting to sound like a curmudgeon... I need to go back to the desert and chill out.

Wife wanted "wine coolers" when we went to son's house for NYE, so I was DD. She had half of one, I guess that mango flavored shite wasn't worth the effort. I maintained my sober status by drinking almost a 2l bottle of diet coke, sans Jack. Figured with his status and all, Dick Clarke's Rockin would be my speed, but only made it to about 11:30 before napping a bit. Home by 12:30, had breakfast at 7:30, dinner at 5:30, rest of the time in my robe in bed watching TV.
    Back to the work-grind today.

Still sick but I think I’m on the tail end of it.
Dad got sick the same day as me but not as bad and said he felt better after a couple of days. But he woke up this morning feeling super crappy so I don’t know if we got the same bug or different bugs. Either way I just hope this thing doesn’t come back on me again. I’m on day six, consumed about 1000 cough drops and emptied out two Kleenex boxes.
    that’s what we’re here for.

Sort of, few people went out for drinks. Can’t really do much being a County / tax payer job . I surprised her with one on Monday after work with some friends, we had fun. Most of us have known each other since 75’ or longer . We have some stories.:D

snowing here too. as much as i hate it, we need it. mountains were still bare at xmas and thats not a good thing.
but i have 47 sewing projects to keep me busy so i can just hunker down for the weekend and ignore whatever is happening out there.
