What was the TV commercial with the old retired dude walking down the beach wearing one, it was an old commercial. My friends and I always joke about it, “ moving to Florida, cruise the beach.:eek:

    Happy Tuesday!

My farts are fresh, thank you very much.:D

Shhh, it's my secret spot. Even Lisa won't able to name-that-river.

I'm actually hoping that Mike will be able to venture out onto the ice this year and share a few pics of the adventure.

Afternoon folks, getting clipped pretty good with snow. Did my stuff, cleared an area for our dog. Cleared out the cat ladies house out, made an area for her four cats and dog. Then the other lady was looking out her window, so might as well do hers. I’m thinking we got 6”- 10” of fluff so far today. I love playing in the snow, I need to figure out how to make it a paying gig  made a lot of money as a kid shoveling snow, $5 bucks a pop

Trust me Tom, I have no desire to live in Florida! The above mentioned states would work. I’m kinda partial to Michigan :DI love the four seasons, and the hunting and fishing opportunities

I have only driven through Michigan, once, a long time ago. But I have always heard it has lots of good hunting country. My family spent a month in the summer of 1978, visiting a family friend in Anchorage, Alaska. We spent a week fishing on the Kenai River. I love the mountains. That visit, even though I was only 11, ruined me for any place else. I've hunted Wyoming and Utah, driven through Montana and Idaho, so have seen at least a little of them. Enpugh to know I would be very happy in any of them. I would love to have moved to any of them in 2022, when my wife, her parents and brother, and I left California. But they didn't want to live in States where there is always going to be extreme cold in winters, and my father-in-law has COPD, so altitudes are a No-Go for him. We ended up in Kentucky, as it is moderately mid-way between Florida, and New England (New York / Massachusettes / New Hampshire / Maine) where my wife's family has most of their extended relations (aunts / uncles / cousins), so fairly easy to get to see most of them.

yes i remember those days.and push mowing a few yards. you wouldnt believe what the state pays to contract out road plowing here to farmers and the like on the backroads. i know a few that will push 16-18 hours at a time and make a ton of money.
