As a matter of fact :D we get store brand stuff, with a few exceptions. My wife does the shopping, I’m not allowed to go for financial / health reasons. A dozen doughnuts does not last a week, at least by my math

I hear you. i do the shopping, since I'm retired and my wife still works. The dairy/egg/yogurt aisle ends at the bakery. They have turnovers, paczki, cookies, etc. staring at me. i made a blueberry pie today from the blueberries we froze from our bushes in the summer. I could eat the entire thing in 24 hours if I don't exercise restraint.

Not gluten free, sorry. Although the wife and I did make a gluten free cherry pie for the grandson. We even bought fresh cherries and pitted them ourselves. Then we added sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch. the wife made a gf crust. It looked good when it came out of the oven.

    Good evening, peoples.

Freeking wind storms all day long, I need to check in the day light tomorrow for missing shingles.

Yesterday was the first time in 2 weeks that the woodstove got the upstairs above 70°. I spent a good amount of time trying to trouble shoot the Multimode 4WD system on the 3rd gen T4R. Awesome system when it functions properly, complete PIA trying to understand HOW it works for proper diagnosis. The end of the day, I was using a jumper wire to simulate a closed switch and got on the trail of a dead switch on the backside of the t-case, next to the actuator. The switch was completely dead, it looked just like the 4WD indicator switch for the front ADD that I had to replace because the switch only worked about 75% of the time when I bench tested it. I'm glad that I saved it, 75% functionality beats 0% so into the t-case it went. Viola! everything seems to be verking again. for now. until it shits the bed when I need it to work again.

The grocery store that I shop at gives you "points" whenever you shop, so many points for X number of $$ spent. 100 points gets you the 18 pack of large eggs for $3. I used to like the jumbos, they're almost $10/dozen right now so the cheap larges are my newest favorites.

    Happy b-day to @MoneyMan55

Good morning everybody! Well the kids are going to be disappointed they were wanting to sign Mikala’s cast but there’s not going to be one. She has another appointment with another orthopedic surgeon Friday because the one she saw yesterday is going to be on vacation next week and she’s going to need surgery. I thought I heard this parts crushed the other night turns out I’m not deaf o_O She is going to need a plate and the dr says on a positive note there won’t be any need for a cast. That bright side again.

My friends wife’s just broke her wrist a few weeks ago, walking slipped on some ice. She had surgery, no cast before or after surgery. Went well, just some physical therapy :fingerscrossed: so far so good. I believe they installed some metal reinforcement parts. Hopefully your wife’s outcome goes well
