The dr was telling her it’s pretty routine outpatient surgery and in a way it sounds better than trying to keep a cast dry for weeks.

Good morning. Made it to the upper 40’s yesterday with one hell of a wind in the afternoon. Today - return to winter temps.

 

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Been a rough couple of months with my Mother passing right before thanksgiving, still dealing with her affairs with no end in sight. Limped through the holidays doing the best we could. On a positive note, married my Amanda last Saturday (been together 22 years), nice small wedding family and a few close friends. Grand Daughters made the day! Flying out Sunday for a honeymoon in the sunshine state, Lord knows we need this vacation. Good catching up with 50"s gang, Happy Thursday all!

 

Wow man... Retired here too. My wife only lets me get certain items & then with very specific instructions on brand, size, price & so on. No deviations allowed.

Its strange cause eggs went nuts here a while back & then came right back down.

Just regular old white grade A eggs are $3.50 a dozen about everywhere.
If you want cage free, free range & all that other stuff? Then they are $5

Since we are in farm country all of our little places around sell brown eggs that are open raised for $3 dz. This is actually $2dz & then the place that sells them makes $1. We try to always get them that way. Gotta help our fellow local farmers.

 

As long as there's no stones in my kidney's in a follow up CT Scan in 6 months

Sorry about Mom, we just finished the last of our parents estate, after 5 years. Still have a house in Racine Wi that we promised not to sell out from under the retirees that rent. Property taxes are more than double what we pay in Cali.
Congrats on finally making the decision to get married. 22 years of dating is enough...lol
