    Work party weather was brutal. 30MPH wind right off the 40F water with rain showers. I wore my slicker and rubber overalls but that keeps the perspiration in so I got cold and clammy. In the end a number of members didn’t show up and those that were there kept their political perspective to themselves. I got put in charge of moorings. It’s the first time I was put in charge for this. Normally I’m the backup checker but the leader had a funeral to go to today. My back is barking from pulling 5/8” galvanized chain. Time for a big martini to loosen the muscles.
