Not with Tacoma headlights, but I have dried out the taillight of my F250. I dried it out best I could with shop towels and my air compressor, then put it in my oven on a cookie sheet with the bulb openings facing up ^ at 170° (lowest setting on my oven) for a couple hours. I did check on it several times to make sure it wasn't melting. I turned the oven off and let it cool inside, once it cooled off it was dry as a bone inside and out.

Never had any luck, couldn't dry it totally, or seal it enough, they always filled up. I drilled a drain hole and then bought new headlights. I didn't try the oven thing, that's a good idea.

Offloading isn't nice to the plastic mounting tabs on the lights, I need to replace them again, probably the 5th set.

Morning everyone decent weather for today. Well it’s official, it’s road construction season. Ahhhh, the complaining begins Ever since I was a kid people complain about the roads. Years later I worked for a large builder / developer. I was at one of our suppliers, a concrete supplier and noticed a chart on the wall. It was a map of the U S showing the freeze / thaw cycles. Freezing and thawing is one of the worst things that can happen to roads. We live in one of the worst areas for freezing and thawing in the country, ie . damaged roads. Everyone has the answer, no one has the solution There are many solutions, however they are all costly. 4” of asphalt or 12” of concrete and rebar , guess which one is better
