    Good Morning everyone :hattip:

My scan on my kidneys went well , I had a ultrasound instead of the CT scan that I thought I was going to have . Now the wait for my Urologist to look over the images !!!

I arrived about an hour early and walked to the radiology clinic and was back in my truck headed back home 30 Minutes later

Had a CT scan on my lungs the other day, ex 67 year old smoker. Results came back pretty good, my doctor will read it obviously and get back to me. But what I could understand in “medical speak “ no red flags . :bananadance:

Thought of you all as I was driving SoCal -> Tahoe -> Portland -> Tahoe -> SoCal, wanted to get some "river" pictures in the eastern Sierras. But, I shouldn't be snapping river photos when passing vehicles at those speeds. . . My middle son got married on Friday, baby shower on Saturday. Put almost 2500 miles on the wife's Highlander. I'm getting too old to drive ~12 hours in a day.

Did you take 395 for at least part of the trip? We lived in the Placerville area, on highway 50 about half way between Sacramento and Tahoe, before we escaped to Kentucky 3 years ago. I definitely miss Tahoe and the (actual) mountains.

395 from Mojave to past Reno. Still lots of snow on the peaks.

So got my annual checkup at VA clinic (went good), something interesting they are going to try. Stem cells to repair my right shoulder labrum tear. This is first I've heard of them using stem cells for that. Will let you guys know more as I find out more.

Well gonna go heavy on you all for a minute...

Been missing a bit. My Wife had an issue. She has been struggling with her mental health. Had an episode building & last week it happened. She disappeared on Friday & it took us 3days to track her down. When we finally did she was overjoyed to see me & we thought that all was well. Kids went back to their lives & next day she spun out... That went from a spin to a spiral & yesterday she had a full break. It got bad enough that I had to call 911 as my daughter said enough was enough call me now. So I did. They show up just to do a wellness check on her.

She wigs out screaming saying don't open the door its the devil trying to get in. The PoPo heard that.
Then I opened the door & as the cop came in ... She ran out the back door, jumped in her car, roared out of the garage around the cop car, thru the flower beds, over the rock garden & down the hill.

Cop asked me to listen which direction she went while he turned his car around & called for back up.
Chase was on. She high speeded it out our country road & made a turn on a road she didn't know with them on her tail. She jump ramped a hill, flew thru the air & hit a creek bank nose first. She was going fast enough that she bull dozered the other side of the creek.

All airbag deployment. She was stuck in the car, messed up her leg. Cops came back & filled me in & looked over the scene. They told me she was hurt badly. Went to the hospital & she refused to see me or any family from either side. Then they transported her to Columbus 2hrs away.

This was not her usual manic depressive episode. This was a full on psychotic break.
She blamed her family/me/kids for this. No clue how this turns out, no possible good outcome.

So if I don't like your posts in the next couple days? Its just cause we are handling a mess that has no end or good outcome.

Loving someone with these types of issues is a very full/hard job. But its what those of us who do must do.

Vent session over, thanks for tolerating.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Absolutely no like there. Damned sorry to have read that, I can't imagine what was going through your head. Glad she's relatively OK, or at least stable? Does she take meds for the manic depression? If that's too personal, tell me to mind my own damned business.

I get most of my healthcare from the VA. I’ve always had great care. Good luck.

That’s a lot to deal with. I work with adolescents suffering mental illness. I have a lot of respect for people who help their loved ones through episodes like this. Good luck with everything. Vent any time.
