Honestly its been a pretty shitty few months. We saw this building & were doing our best.
But my wife is a very very strong personality who gets her way all the time every time.
This just kept getting worse... It never bottomed out & it still hasn't.

The update is that they did do a psych eval on her today & they "pink slipped" her. They tell me this means that she is no longer allowed to make decisions on this & it now reverts back to her family.

That would be my girls, me & MIL. The Psychiatrist said that she is no on involuntary hold & will be requiring inpatient care for a bit. We are fine with that as this is NOT something we can handle at home. AND I'm home with her alone which is a huge no in this type of thing.

Wife has endlessly professed her love for me, to me & to them, but when someone is this out of control ? You need 2 people around at all times for de escalation, safety & unfortunately as a witness.

So the immediate plan is to get her to the inpatient place. Get the exact diagnosis & find a treatment plan that works. Get her into it, get her stable.... THEN try to bring her back out to public. Whether that be here or at another location.

It was mentioned that she has refused diagnosis & treatment on many occasions & that this is a fairly late in life breakthrough for a first time of this level. They said that if she wont take the medicines we will probably have to go to what they called a long term injectable.

Where she will have to go to the DR or Hosp, get the shot in person & then X amount of time later come back. This eliminates her not taking the meds.

This is all new to me & we'll see how it goes but im maxed out & getting a tiny break.

It's good to see that maybe this will move things in a positive direction. The not taking of meds is a bad thing when it comes to mental health issues. It puts everyone at risk.

Then I opened the door & as the cop came in ... She ran out the back door, jumped in her car, roared out of the garage around the cop car, thru the flower beds, over the rock garden & down the hill.

Cop asked me to listen which direction she went while he turned his car around & called for back up.
Chase was on. She high speeded it out our country road & made a turn on a road she didn't know with them on her tail. She jump ramped a hill, flew thru the air & hit a creek bank nose first. She was going fast enough that she bull dozered the other side of the creek.

All airbag deployment. She was stuck in the car, messed up her leg. Cops came back & filled me in & looked over the scene. They told me she was hurt badly. Went to the hospital & she refused to see me or any family from either side. Then they transported her to Columbus 2hrs away.

This was not her usual manic depressive episode. This was a full on psychotic break.
She blamed her family/me/kids for this. No clue how this turns out, no possible good outcome.

So if I don't like your posts in the next couple days? Its just cause we are handling a mess that has no end or good outcome.

Loving someone with these types of issues is a very full/hard job. But its what those of us who do must do.

I’m still over the compression post so I’m not sure if I’m off or not. So I’ll have to make a few more adjustments to the stay mounts on the mast. I was able to get the side stay shrouds correctly tensioned using a new tension gauge. Wow, the old ones were loose.

Morning 50+ crew, emphasis on the + As many of you know I try and walk every morning, early. Live near a lake that we have access to. Most of the lake houses are now Air BnB’s. Everyone wanted them at the zoning meetings, more tax money $$$$. Now the parking near all the lake houses is a giant shitshow with out of state plates parked everywhere It’s nice not to live on the lake, it will be a Jet Ski , Fishing Boat , Water Skiing accident waiting to happen. There were probably 10-15 more cars than yesterday morning, there’s only 10 houses on the lake.

I'm not an expert, but I'd say that anytime you can relax and unwind with a minute to yourself would be beneficial. Good thoughts to you and your family.
