Good morning. Debating on what day to leave for the Cape. Anxiety is kicking in on being up there alone for a few days with crappy weather in the forecast. Also ruminating over all of the things I should be doing here that I don’t want to do. It’ll all work out, I suppose. I’ll have to take MermAndy with me to give me a hug when I need one…

Happy Birfday Chief @Cold Iron - Grill yourself something great

I’ll have to see if MermAndy wants to go back to Provincetown again. I think he was scared after seeing the guy with the chain attached to nipple piercings being led around. But lunch at the Lobster Pot was good.

If you go in a store, just stay in the front third. Whatever you do, don’t go through the hanging beads!

I'm with you. I have always had this hatred of needles. Unless they involve ink. People, rightly so, find it a bizzare situation that I love tattoos, but can't tolerate getting blood drawn, or injections. Yes, tattoos are infinitely more painful, and the process lasts hours, not seconds. It isn't physical pain for me, it's the mental. My mind "sees" the needle passing through my skin, and into the vein. That just creeps me the hell out. Over the years, I can't tell you how many times, while having blood drawn, the person on the other end of the needle can't find the vein, they go o"fishing" for it, by jabbing all around, hoping they will hit it. I do not have the vocabulary to even begin to describe what that feels like, both the physical as well as mental experience. And I have had them hit a vein, and poke through.... That's also an unforgettable experience.

    Happy Tuesday, all

Cold weather clothes are a requirement, even if only for night time.

The Alpine Loop is officially opened for the season.

You’re fine as long as it’s before 10pm and you stay out of the alleyways

Hasn’t said anything yet. He’s going to be my wingman.

Came back from Tahoe and co-workers started spraying my office with Lysol on Friday because of my coughing. I went home after a few hours. Slept 3 hours that day, in bed by 9-ish. Didn't wake until after 8 Saturday. Did the same again on Sunday.
Monday morning alarm went off at 5:30 and I simply couldn't get out of bed. FitBit says I slept 17:45 yesterday, but I was back in bed at 9 last night. Managed to make it into work today, although I have little motivation to accomplish anything but plan my Mexico cruise for the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Coughing is residual at this point, maybe one per hour.
