A little of this and a little of that.
I sincerely appreciate the well wishes.

We are home. Hip replacement surgery went well for my M-I-L. She’ll be ready for the 100 meter hurdles in no time. :D

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
He's involved in a Miniere's group, I think through Facebook, that shares info and resources. This is a bit of a setback because he had been only having issues if he didn't watch his sodium intake closely. He said he had no warning that anything was amiss, just went down and could do nothing about it.

I feel for you. Seeing what Dale's gone through, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. It really messes up your world.

Wanted to thank you all again for the support & give a little more positive news.

Wife got released to me & we will have a 3rd party present at all times for a bit to see if her meds work & so that she doesn't feel like "I'm the bad guy making her take these meds".

Got her a car today. She finally approved it. She paid for it with her insurance money...
Its a really nice Outback. Its way nicer than the Jeep she was driving.
This baby is 1 owner. Absolutely loaded with every option & not a mark on the inside.
Has a shopping cart ding on a fender... But over all? Very nice grab for a bargain.

Yeah it can rob you of pleasures…..still stings the one year I missed my daughter’s 3rd grade musical performance at her grade school due to a drop attack. It was probably horrible, but wish I’d seen it…
My biggest thing is figuring out your triggers that make it worse. For me, spring allergies are a definite trigger so I get on major doses of antihistamines, and still get issues. But I have a good ENT, so that helps.
Hope he recovers from this attack quickly.

Good evening, I hope that everyone had a happy 'hump day'. The county inspectors were inside of the facilities for about 3 hrs, I didn't see any 'stop work' orders taped to the front door so who knows what happened. I do know that an electrical and plumbing inspectors are supposed to show up tomorrow. Apparently the natural gas line that feeds the oven for the powder coat oven never had a permit, nor the electrical. ( the same powder coat oven that was on fire from all of the powdered paint that had accumulated on the top of the oven because it wasn't properly vented outside....)

Morning folks :hattip:I’ve decided to switch to decaf coffee, blood pressure concerns. It tastes okay but it’s lacking CAFFEINE. It’s day three, I’m not liking it, reminds me of non alcoholic beer o_O

Ugh for you. While I'm not a coffee drinker...... If I had to switch to caffeine free MT Dew?

Would probably not be a safe spot for anyone anywhere for a while.

    Good luck!

Good morning. As I was pulling up to the curb, I noticed no less than a half dozen county vehicles and some general contractors trucks. Hmmmm.

Thanks for asking, and yes I am. It's getting tougher to find engineering tech/ designer drafter jobs, there are more manufacturing jobs closing up then opening.

I hope that your industry stays busy.

Got the shingles vax on Monday. Felt great afterwards - until noon on Tuesday. That MF'er of a Mack Truck hit me from out of the blue. Glad I WFH most of the time. If it happened at the office I would have had to uber home, and someone would have had to help. Slept 18 hours and was much better on Wednesday AM. Still not 100%.

To be fair, they did warn me that it was a doozey. I thought I was still young and didn't listen. I'll get the follow up shot on a Friday.
