    well a short update:

wife is home. its been as you would expect. we have a 3rd person here at all times. she went to the DR today. tried to tell them she was fine & no she hasnt been taking any of the meds....
it was her DR. that she picked & they just flat out told here she was STILL in a manic episode & needed medication now. They gave her different meds since she wouldtn take the ones she was on.
she immediately tried to throw me under the bus & said it was all my fault, i caused it, she was scared of "me"... & i didnt say a word. just let her go on to her Dr. to the DRs credit she had already read the
police reports & 911 call. she knew it wasnt true. she told the wife that the 3rd person was a great idea & that it made perfect sense. wife was NOT happy. she also told her that she was gonna do mandatory psych eval again to see if her misdiagnosed claims were valid. This is a roller coaster that you just cant get off of. on the way out my wife was hopping mad & stormed out. The lady Dr looked at me & said: i know. you dont need to say anything. so i let it go at that. made for an interesting day for sure.

    stay safe.

Well, the state of mental illness is that inpatient is just for stabilization and then release. It’s really a shame because more medication adjustments could be made along with therapy. But that’s the state of medical care that we have. I hope she is able to get her mood regulated and returns to be the wife you know and love. I hope the best for both you and her. You both will be in my prayers and thoughts.
