Morning all

 

Good Morning to all. Bit cloudy with possible storms until mid-afternoon. Supposed to get almighty freaking hot here next week

 

Today, I tried to stay busy and not be in the head. Not overly successful but I’ll take the limited improvement. Went for a long walk this morning; about 3 1/2 miles. Relaxed a bit to rehydrate and then went to Coast Guard beach with my sister. It was really busy and I was lucky to get a parking space. My sister has a handicap placard so I was able to park in one of the remaining empty handicap spots. Then stopped off at my nephew’s house for a quick stop as he’s very close to the National Seashore. Finally hit the grocery store for dinner and am now sitting in MermAndy’s chair as my sister needs the recliner for her bad back. My Uncle arrived today to his house in town and my daughter is coming for the weekend tomorrow. Heat is finally here, got into the mid 70’s!

They're hiding in the mountains. You covered a lot of ground! How is the Taco doing?

 

It’s doing great and tomorrow it gets to slow down and explore. I’ve been to where I am now a few times maybe even qualifies as several but I’m turning north tomorrow. The upper section of New Mexico is totally new to me. I’m in Santa Rosa for the night and this is as far on 40 as I’m going.

 

There’s green here but it’s all short or if it has any height to it it’s on a 45 pointing north.

 

Awesome! There's so many possible scenic routes to take to get to Salida ( and stay off of I-25) there isn't a bad choice to make.
