Good morning from Houston! I got to accompany my wife on one of her work trips - which is always a pleasure because it’s such a stark contrast between private organizations and the DOD for business trips. She’s always amazed how amazed I am by the amenities and the way people are treated. I told her we don’t even get coffee provided unless you bring it yourself. Tonight there’s an open bar with top-shelf alcohol and lobster tails!

 

Atta boy! Someone has to uphold those stereotypes.

 

Seeing this shirt, I've gotta say: Gabba Gabba Hey!

 

I had a telehealth appointment this morning with the specialist from Yale. After waiting for a half hour, I call the office and they tell me he’s nowhere to be found and reschedule to the middle of august. So much for following up on my mental health!

 

My Dr. didn't call Monday. I got rescheduled to the end of October . . .
The office never offered a reason I didn't get called. I responded to their text messages over the weekend and confirmed. Dr.'s assistant at least called me back and placed the prescription for my new version of CGM.

 

We should send the doctor offices bills for missed appointments by the provider!!!

 

But God help you if you are 10 minutes late for an appointment!

 

Frustrating to say the least

 

Can escalators really be out of order? Wouldn’t they just become stairs??

It's an elevator world, most people just can't think outside that box.

 

I would use the handrail thing as a slide, just going down, then use the stairs so I could do it again. Blocked off for liability reasons I’ll bet.

That sucks Paul , hope they can reschedule for an earlier appt . I've gone thru the same at the VA , I've had scheduled appointments rescheduled 4 plus times with my urology dept

 

I get it now, I zoomed in, it’s a “Marriot” facility, don’t they have bidet’s
