    Got back from Happy Hour all safe and sound. I invited my nephew and his fiancé to meet my wife and I. 2 gin and tonics, a dozen and a half of Wellfleet oysters (split by 3 of us), and a fish sandwich slider later we were done and ready to leave. It was good. No pictures this time…

    I forgot mine!! I had bought more and left the container sitting next to the door. Tried a black beetle since the only bugs I was seeing were flies. Weren't really interested in that.

    No, we got to the marina in Cascais that the tour guide had been building up as an amazing place. We get there, walk about a mile and it is a marina, just like at home. And I told her that.
    Sure there were amazing palaces but it was a stinky marina.

    I used to get a lot of spider bites as a kid. We had a wood burning stove and the little bastards would hitch a ride into the house with the fire wood. Pretty sure my brother would find them, catch them, and hide them in my room though...

    big flies? get a floatin fool. there's a similar pattern that i cant remember the name of but it has a white synthetic on the top that is in a loop instead of the spiky parachute topper. works just as good.
