I ran across this going up and back. The picture says worth township pa. IMG_5024.jpg IMG_5029.png
    IMG_5030.png

I’m going to have to do some googling to see what it was. All the people at the gate would say was it’s a battle reenactment and it’s been going on every year for 52 years. And to be quick taking a picture because the people didn’t like folks taking pictures. They were apparently just event staff and really couldn’t care one way or the other. I googled it’s under pennsic war 52 and it’s a two week thing put on every year. And you have to be a member of a kingdom to participate seems a little different to me o_O They do a renaissance Festival every year in Charlotte and I’ve seen the commercials with people dressed the same way.

We have the civil war reenactment folks down here a friend of mine that passed on earlier this year did those. He was a great guy and we both loved history but Dane was still a little bitter lol. One of the last times I talked to him he was telling me about him wearing his generals uniform on a tour of fords theatero_O or the coat that went with it anyway. I would stop in places when I was traveling in Virginia and PA sometimes snap a picture send it to him with where am I.

Good morning everybody, have a great weekend!

It’s a surprisingly pleasant morning, about 73 with no humidity, not something we normally have in August. It’s a prefect day to mow the grass. Right before another week of rain in the forecast

Good morning. This morning, I’ll clean up some more of the basement. Good thing I’ve got the first dose of the hepatitis vaccine in me!

Out here we rarely mow after June 15th until mid to late September. Was hard to get used to after being in the midwest most of my life. This year it keeps raining. No smoke but have to make time to mow! Hail on Thursday evening. Still had piles outside of a couple businesses yesterday morning. Would have stopped to take a picture but overslept a couple hours and that four letter word place was calling to make sure I was ok.

I've never watered my yard, damn weeds around here will grow in any condition. Even when the ground is so dry there are 1/2" cracks in the dirt spaced nearly every foot.

Basement bathroom cleaned and disinfected - check. Thank God for large contractor garbage bags. The transfer station frowns on throwing out durable items in the household trash compactor. I’m finally able to toss the very old bathroom scale from 1964 that has some rust on it. There’s a perfectly fine glass one near it that is being kept for now. You know - too good to throw away. Bleach bathroom cleaner to the rescue. No one really uses the basement bath anymore. My sister and mother can’t do stairs safely and I use the outside shower. Now that it’s sparkling clean, I should put it on the market!

It’s a lot of work and money keeping a lawn looking nice. I give it weed and feed a couple times a year . When it gets like this you have to water it every day, and don’t really see any results.

I am balancing between dead and dark green. Water and feed it but not enough to burn it. I am using up a sprayer of feed, I don't like it, too uneven. But I am cheap and don't want to waste it.
